Diaphanous Fractures (2023)
Slumped waterglass, dimensions vary.

Fragmented pieces of histories, representing both light and darkness in the history of the castle, displayed like collected jewels and treasures brought back from colonial tours, or sea glass found washed-up on the coast. The work considers the conflicting position of the Talbots as both colonial representatives and as benefactors for the seaside town of Malahide.

Exhibited at Malahide Castle and Gardens. Supported by Fingal Arts Office and The Arts Council of Ireland.
